Vancouver Island University's New Master's Program for Teachers

A Master of Education in Special Education is one of eight new degree programs announced by Moira Stilwell, Minister of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development.

This two-year program is offered out of Vancouver Island University's Nanaimo, BC campus, and applications are currently being accepted.

Special Education teachers and support staff are in high demand in British Columbia.  In the last year, 170 jobs in the area of special education were posted on Makeafuture.ca.
