Premier Professional Event For Educators & Online Learning Innovators
If you're an educator in British Columbia, and you're interested in online learning or curious about incorporating technology into the classroom, you won't want to miss the Virtual School Society's upcoming annual conference April 21-23 in Vancouver, BC.
This year's theme is "Innovations in online learning – What's working in BC and beyond." Those interested in technology in the classroom will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge in this subject while meeting like-minded educators.
The event commences on Friday, April 21 at the Simon Fraser University Harbour Centre with pre-conference workshops and seminars. On Saturday and Sunday, the conference features four keynote speakers discussing the latest research on the intersection of technology and learning, along with peer-reviewed presentations from BC educators on innovative ideas in distributed learning and regular classrooms province-wide.
Topics include online literature circles, using robotics to enhance curricula, interactive online math, web literacy and how to support struggling learners. The conference will also feature an exhibitor's tradeshow. Visit LearnNowBC for more information and to register.
