Help Wanted: Finance & Accounting Professionals in BC Schools

British Columbia School Districts in Campbell River, Chilliwack, Richmond, Vancouver, West Vancouver and Mission are hiring finance and accounting professionals with various levels of experience.

Some of the positions currently available are: Accounting and Budget Analyst, Accounting Clerk, Capital Project Accountant, Manager of Financial Services, and Payroll Accountant. In these roles, successful applicants will perform a variety of tasks including payroll, budget analysis, audit preparations, finance coordination, and accounts receivable.

In terms of qualifications, school districts are seeking individuals with a Chartered Professional Accountant designation for senior positions.  For more junior positions, a diploma in accounting and finance or equivalent training is a minimum requirement.
