There are 16 school counsellor job openings in 11 school districts.

In the Metro Vancouver region, school districts in West Vancouver and North Vancouver are recruiting to fill part-time and full-time positions. In North Vancouver, the district is looking for elementary and secondary Teacher-Counsellors to start in the fall. In the same region, West Vancouver School District is looking for a part-time Support Teacher/Counsellor to start in July.

Though some of these positions start in the summer, the majority commence in the fall school year.

In larger school districts, counsellors provide services to a particular school or community. In smaller school districts, counsellors may provide services to students across the entire district.
