Culture of China

Students in China
Most students are Chinese nationals and have studied English as a Second Language from their primary or middle years. Many enter the BC program in Grade 10 and must pass an English examination to enroll. Some students supplement their English education with private lessons and enrolment in IELTS and TOEFL programs.
Chinese students predominantly come from supportive families who value education. They tend to be well behaved, hardworking, engaged in school life and interested in North American culture. Students are academically focused and aspire to attend a Canadian university after graduation.
