Not a Teacher? Yes, You Can Have a Great Career in Education
Looking for a secure career with long-term benefits? We got you. BC schools throughout the province need a range of dedicated employees to help ensure the success of students in BC.
Teaching and education assistants usually come to mind when we think of education careers, but there are countless opportunities for those working in trades, clerical, custodial roles, IT, accounting, payroll and more.
While teachers and EAs are in demand throughout the province, support staff who help BC schools run smoothly are also highly sought after.
What to Expect from an Education Career
Along with the opportunity to provide productive, full-time support, these positions offer extended health and dental benefits and a first-rate pension.
Some roles mean supporting the district administration at the senior level, while others involve working directly inside schools.
But they all deliver the chance to support student learning in creating safe, functional learning environments.
