Our Teach in BC series continues in May with two upcoming information sessions featuring districts from Metro Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Northern BC and the Kootenay regions.

We'll share tips on getting your job application noticed and highlight the unique opportunities available in BC's independent, First Nations and BC-certified offshore schools.

Coast Mountains School District 82
Coast Mountains School District is located in beautiful northwest British Columbia, a place where you can enjoy small-town life and unique cultural experiences. You can immerse yourself in the wonders of nature while fishing, camping, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking or skiing.
The school district also serves the learning needs of a significant urban Aboriginal population in the community of Terrace and numerous students of Nisga'a heritage from the Nass Valley also attend school in Terrace. The richness of the local First Nations culture and history contributes to all the schools in a very positive way as Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal learners benefit from the diversity surrounding them.

Sooke School District 62
School District 62 is a growing school district located a short distance from Victoria, BC, on Vancouver Island. Set to the backdrop of forests, the Pacific ocean, mountains and pristine Lakes, the district serves 12,000 students in the communities of Sooke, Port Renfrew, Metchosin, Highlands, Langford and Colwood.
The district currently serves approximately 12,000 students in the communities of Sooke, Port Renfrew, Metchosin, Highlands, Langford and Colwood. In the next five years, Sooke anticipates an annual growth of 300 students annually.
The district is currently looking to fill Inclusive Education and French Immersion Teacher positions.

Richmond School District 38
School District 38 is situated on the traditional and unceded territory of the peoples of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language group. SD 38 is a vibrant learning community that fosters students' engagement, creativity, and well-being in inclusive learning environments.
Located in the Metro Vancouver region, the school district lies within the boundaries of the City of Richmond on an island at the mouth of the Fraser River. The community's shared history began thousands of years ago as a place where the First Peoples gathered and lived. Today Richmond is a community of over 200,000 people who have chosen to live here from all over the world. Richmond has the highest immigrant population in the entire country, with ¾ of the population of Asian descent.
